Bachelor's degree in related engineering field (Process, Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical)
3 years of experience in a maintenance, Reliability or related field
Strong Mechanical aptitude and ability to provide back up for Maintenance Leader
Plusses:
Has worked in a manufacturing (plastics) environment.
Any form of safety certification.
Comes from Plastics (woven plastics)
Has achieved an Iso certification
Six Sigma Black or Green belt certification
Day to Day:
The role is responsible for ensuring the uptime and safety of all process, ancillary, and facilities equipment, while leading continuous improvement and technical problem-solving efforts. This includes establishing and maintaining plant safety objectives, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and holding team members and contractors accountable for safe work practices. The position also involves maintaining ISO-compliant maintenance records, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance, and supporting budget preparation and cost justification for projects. Additionally, the role supports regulatory compliance, leads investment projects, and utilizes reliability engineering principles to enhance equipment performance and minimize failures.
