Responsibilities
Install configure and maintain Oracle database software
Design and implement database structures to meet business requirements
Manage user access and ensure database security
Perform regular database backups and recovery
Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans
Collaborate with development teams to improve database performance
Plan for future database expansion and capacity requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture SQL and PLSQL
Experience with Oracle tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM and Recovery Manager RMAN
Familiarity with database security protocols and procedures
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
Experience with Oracle databases from 11g to19c
Knowledge of Linux OS and shell scripting
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques
Certification in Oracle Database Administration
