Our client, a prominent law firm based in Irvine, CA is seeking a Litigation Support Specialist to join their winning team!
Summary: The Litigation Support Specialist will assist the firm in litigation processes, including case management, document preparation, and electronic discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and manage litigation documents and correspondence.
Assist with the collection and review of electronically stored information (ESI).
Maintain and update litigation databases.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
Train users on document management systems.
Prepare reports and case summaries for attorneys.
Support trial preparation tasks, such as creating exhibit lists.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 3 years of experience in litigation support or eDiscovery.
Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Outlook.
Strong understanding of litigation and e-discovery processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Paralegal certification or similar credentials.
Experience with trial technology.
Familiarity with various legal areas
Work Environment: This office-based role may require extended hours during trials and occasional travel for court appearances. The firm's new headquarters in Irvine, CA, offers modern facilities near Southern California's beaches and shopping areas.
