Our client, a growing Beauty brand, is looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join their team!
MUST be bilingual in Spanish!
This role will be instrumental in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting our diverse team while managing payroll, timekeeping, and other essential HR functions in a high-paced environment.
Location-ONSITE in Glendale (Non negotiable)
Salary-Up to $85K
What You Will Do:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly warehouse and office positions,
including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth integration
and compliance with company policies.
Serve as the primary HR contact for all warehouse and office staff, providing
guidance on company policies, benefits, and HR programs.
Support conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary
actions as needed, escalating issues to the HR Manager when required.
Oversee and manage payroll processing for hourly staff, ensuring accuracy
and timeliness.
Maintain timekeeping records and address any payroll discrepancies,
collaborating with finance and escalating to the HR Manager as needed.
Support ongoing training initiatives, including compliance, safety protocols,
and job-specific training for new and existing employees.
Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain accurate and organized employee records, documentation, and
files in line with company and legal standards.
Support performance management processes and assist in annual
performance review cycles.
Coordinate company events, employee recognition programs, and
engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with the HR Manager on special projects to enhance workplace
culture and operational efficiency.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a Generalist role with recruiting, payroll, and onboarding responsibilities.
Bilingual in Spanish and English - required for effective communication with
warehouse and office staff.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, payroll, and timekeeping processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage a high paced work environment.
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, as well as MS Office (Word, Excel,
Outlook).
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Previous experience in a construction, manufacturing, distribution, or warehousing environment.
Familiarity with industry regulations, including FLSA, OSHA, and EEO guidelines.
