Pay Rate: $28 - $36/hr (Depending on Years of Experience)
As an Associate Project Manager, you will support our client's front-end digital product MMA (Manage My Account) for their utility customers and play an integral role on the Customer IT innovation team. The ideal candidate will be exposed to the project management lifecycle, tracking projects in our client's platform, along with generating project documentation to ensure on-time delivery. He/she/they will collaborate with key stakeholders and portfolio leaders to create transparency in portfolio financials and overall health, support planning and execution of work, and operationally support the MMA product. The selected Project Manager will be able to work autonomously and be eager to learn and grow in an agile, cross-functional department.!
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or similar with 0-1 years of professional experience.
Basic experience in MS Excel; proven ability to create Excel reports and executive summaries.
Experience with or eagerness to learn about project management lifecycle and project tracking.
Academic or professional experience with ServiceNow, Scrum/Agile methodologies/frameworks.
Willingness to learn ServiceNow if no prior experience.
Proven ability to create detailed, visually appealing slide decks in PowerPoint.
Experience with MS Office desktop technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Demonstrated planning skills with the delivery of long and short-term goals.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Strong judgment, excellent analytical ability, and consulting skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business
Your Responsibilities Include:
Help track projects through Re:Invent from infancy to deployment.
Work with principal project managers to develop project documentation exemplifying financial health, project timelines, and project status.
Develop executive summaries for MMA (Manage My Account) products for utility customers.
Develop financial reports tracking issues, risks, and financial health.
Proactive monitoring and tracking of IT portfolio investments to maintain enterprise-wide visibility in alignment with budget targets.
Maintain and enhance relationships with Finance, Business Units, and IT partners.
Provide coordination, support and deliverables related to emergent initiatives and special assignments with focus on sharing of business process expertise, continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.
Responsible for identifying and/or processing offsets to reflect evolving and emergent needs.
Facilitate and manage annual Baseline & Project LRP build and variance analysis in addition to supporting challenge sessions.
Management level reporting and presentations (i.e. MRMs).
Identify new cost optimization opportunities and risks.
