Our team is partnering with a rapidly growing medtech company in Los Angeles to fill a critical role on their operations team. They are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize the company's operational strategy as they scale. In this role, you will streamline processes, oversee cross-functional initiatives, and build a high-performing team to support the company's growth. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, budget management, and regulatory compliance, while also leveraging technology to enhance productivity. This position requires close collaboration with leadership and various departments to align operations with overall company goals and drive long-term success.
Requirements of the Director of Operations:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Startup experience is required.
Proven track record in driving operational excellence, process optimization, and leading high-performing teams.
Strong analytical skills with experience in using KPIs and performance metrics to guide decision-making.
In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and compliance, particularly within the medical device, healthtech, or biotech sectors.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments.
Experience in healthtech, biotech, medical devices, or AI-driven companies is preferred.
Ability to think strategically while executing operational plans in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Willingness to work onsite 4 days a week.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive data-informed performance improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, product, regulatory, commercial) to align operational goals with broader company objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manage operational risks, particularly in regulated environments like medical devices.
Leverage technology and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
