Suzano is expanding its operations in the U.S., and we are seeking an experienced FP&A Specialist to join our team at our paper packaging facility in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This role is essential in providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What You're Going to Do:
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans, aligning them with business objectives.
Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, scenario planning, and cost optimization to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to gather data and provide financial insights that support business decisions.
Support the month-end close process by reviewing and analyzing financial results and ensuring accuracy.
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring that financial performance aligns with targets and identifying areas for improvement.
Assist in preparing financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Work closely with accounting to ensure alignment between financial planning and actual results.
Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed.
What We Expect from You:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus.
Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
