OVERVIEW

Our client is a family office investing in real estate and private equity transactions.

FAMILY OFFICE SENIOR ASSOCIATE

The Senior Associate will be responsible for capital raising & investor relations work streams as well as deal execution and portfolio management. The team is looking to bring on a Senior Associate who; is detail oriented, a problem solver, has strong interpersonal skills, and has a very high ceiling for growth and development at the family office. This is a long-term hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders
  • Execute investor requests, address investor questions, and respond to inquiries
  • Coordinate the preparation of materials for investor meetings including drafting presentations, generating back pocket/support materials, and organizing agendas
  • General firm level ad-hoc projects and Chief-of-Staff duties
  • Attend conferences and maintain/market the family office's brand with the team
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the team and Operating Company leadership teams (CFO and Operators) portfolio management teams
  • Conduct portfolio management duties that will include industry research, client communications, and financial reporting
  • Identify key areas for improvement and help streamline IR processes
  • Serve in interim financial/operational leadership roles, as needed
  • Assist the team with deal execution and underwriting workstreams
  • Preparing IC and managing select 3rd parties and diligence documentation
  • Participating in IC meetings and helping to own the LBO/Operating model in PE deals

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
  • Ideally 4-7 years experience within M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or similar field
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to underwrite and structure a control private equity investment
  • Possess a strong sense of "relative value" across PE, Real Estate, and structured equity
  • Foundation with real estate transactions and capital raising helpful, but not required
  • A long-term desire to be based in Austin, TX is highly preferred
  • A proven track record of successful diligence and deal execution
  • A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial disposition
