Wage Range: Min:$64,084, Mid:$84,321, Max:$104,558 A Brief Overview The Loan Servicing Manager oversees the staffing and overall performance of the Loan Servicing department in relationship to quality control, loan administration, and loan data reporting. This position is responsible for reviews of data entered into the core system and reports prepared for internal departments and external agencies. In addition, this position works with Consumer Collections, Special Assets, and Secondary Market for specialized maintenance and/or reporting on delinquent loans. The Loan Servicing Manager is an expert on the loan data/regulations for existing loans and is the main contact for questions from the Loan Servicing and other departments. This position will review processes and procedures within the Loan Servicing department to identify ways to increase productivity and accuracy. They will work in conjunction with the Loan Escrow Manager to implement changes. This position reports to the Loan Operations Manager.
What You Will Do
Possess strong technical understanding of Core Processing System data, specifically in the Loan application.
Delegate responsibility to supervisors and staff with sufficient authority to carry out assignments.
Coach, counsel and develop strength of employees within Escrow/Insurance Departments.
Monitor Loan Operations General Ledger accounts and has a basic knowledge of GL integration and processing.
Analyze Loan Operations General Ledger accounts in conjunction with quarterly reviews and annual budgeting.
Manage the Loan parameter reviews and updates in the Core Processing System.
Provide oversight and assistance with more complex questions and situations related to loan servicing.
Coordinate audit requests received internally or externally in relation to Loan Servicing.
Responsible for the Loan data conversion as part of acquisitions in addition to working with other departments, such as Accounting and Core Banking, to ensure data integrity and GL reconciliation.
Prepare and review policies and procedures and develop and monitor training programs for the Loan Servicing staff.
Monitor the maintenance of modifications or workouts on delinquent loans for Investors, such as Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and FHLB.
Oversee Credit Bureau reporting, including specialized reporting and dispute responses.
Conduct annual performance reviews that include individual development plans and goals.
Ability to make complex decisions with minimal to no supervisory review.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, preferred, not required.
Experience in Jack Henry SilverLake.
Proficient in Excel.
Bachelor's Degree Business or Finance and Minimum 5 Years Loan Operations, Loan Data, or Loan Servicing Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
