Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is currently hiring a Senior Completions Coordinator for a full-time contract position in Williston, ND.
Per Diem is available for individuals outside of North Dakota - the position is expected to run through May 2025 and candidates will be reassigned to other projects throughout the continental United States.
The Senior Completions Coordinator will be responsible for planning, supporting, and/or implementation construction project completions and commissioning of a variety of facilities, including commercial and industrial installations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tracking and testing for various facilities and completions documentation and verifications ensuring alignment with project contractual requirements.
Lead the review of contractual specifications for completion and commissioning requirements of projects.
Lead the efforts to create, verify, and finalize turnover boundaries and turnover packages.
Lead set-up tracking, reporting, and turnover documentation of projects and ensure field teams understand and implement the tools according to specifications.
Lead the review, planning, and communication of vendor requirements with personnel performing commissioning efforts on client projects.
Lead the development and implementation of commissioning and startup plans.
Lead implementation by field teams during execution of completion and commissioning plans.
Lead accept/reject verifications of construction status and completion on equipment.
Lead inspection of installed devices and completion of field required setup and verifications.
Lead coordination and checkout, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of project efforts by addressing problems and routine requirements of equipment and devices.
Ensure proper documentation of activities is maintained and the defined process is being followed in order to support the client's record-keeping and reporting requirements, including turnover documentation.
Lead Assistant and Mid-Level personnel in activities required by the Completions and Commissioning department.
Lead projects for Completions and Commissioning, including proposal support.
Ensure understanding of various testing equipment operation processes and procedures as well as logical controllers and field control systems (PLCs) as integrated into startup procedures.
Responsible for oversight and support of project work activities for mechanical: piping, rotating equipment, stationary equipment, steel, welding, rigging, insulation, heat trace, paint, hydrostatic testing, fire protection, and coatings. For electrical activities: installation, conduit, cable pulls, relay testing, substation, terminations.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience
OR an Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field and 9 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience
OR a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field and 7 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in Bluebeam and cloud-based software.
