Our major healthcare/insurance client is looking for a Sr. Project/Program Manager to join their team to support Enterprise Projects with a focus on Change Management.
Primarily Remote, but must be within commuting distance to Durham, NC for occasional on-site meetings/events

Candidates need to have strong MS Office and Project skills, need to be critical positive thinkers, with strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to provide conflict resolution as needed, and think outside the box.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project plans aligned with departmental and company objectives.
Track and report on project status, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
Negotiate and allocate resources effectively, ensuring projects are staffed with the right skill sets.
Coordinate the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and compliance measures.
Represent the client in meetings with external parties, including consultants and vendors.
Assist in analyzing and developing business processes to meet quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory requirements.
Develop escalation processes and evaluate project risks, creating contingency plans as needed.
Propose solutions to business issues using appropriate analysis tools.
Document and present project management results, ensuring financial and performance objectives are met.
Develop and track budgets, operating plans, and financial forecasts.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to indirect reports, if applicable.
Skills and Requirements:
Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to connect the dots and understand the "why" behind change management.
Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and think creatively.
Prefer candidates with PMP Certification.
Experience in supporting enterprise projects, particularly in change management.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional digital strategy team.
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, 7+ years of relevant experience.
Interview Process:
Initial interview with Hiring Manager (1 hour).
Top 3 candidates will have a second interview with two team members (30 minutes each).
