Our client is seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of the SAP Production Planning, Shop Floor Management, and Plant Maintenance capabilities within SAP S/4 HANA and related systems. This role will involve supporting both production-related incidents and service requests, as well as participating in new software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the functionalities of Production Planning, Shop Floor Management, and Plant Maintenance within S/4 HANA.
Deliver functional support for reports, interfaces, and system enhancements, including drafting technical design documents and detailed specifications for ABAP programming.
Evaluate current business workflows and data to pinpoint areas for improvement, creating solutions that enhance organizational value.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross-departmental teams, vendors, and business partners to facilitate successful system implementations.
Manage localization efforts for new mergers and acquisitions.
Advise external consultants on localization procedures and specific project needs.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or Information Technology.
ASCM CPIM or SAP PP Certification is a plus.
8-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP and PM, showcasing a deep understanding of related processes.
Proven track record with at least three complete life cycle implementations of SAP ECC/S/4 HANA.
Skilled in the design, delivery, and support of SAP PP and PM applications in S/4 HANA within a batch-managed context.
Extensive knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, associated Materials Management processes, and Order settlement procedures.
Experience in Forecasting/Demand Planning, MRP, Production Planning in Process Industries, Shop Floor Execution, and Quality Management processes.
Strong understanding of Master Data elements such as Resources, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, Equipment, Functional Locations, and Preventive Maintenance Plans.
Familiarity with Planned Orders, MRP processes, and Emergency Maintenance Orders.
Knowledgeable in the integration of other SAP modules, including MM, SD, QM, and FI/CO.
