We are seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to become an integral part of our team. The role is responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing staff learning, as well as designing, implementing, and improving the program as a whole. This is a hands on, self-motivated position that is expected to interact with employees at every level, as well as help promote a culture of continuous improvement across all functions with the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze organizational learning and development needs and modify existing programs or develop innovative new programs to meet the needs of our organization and employees
Provide and implement recommendations for improvement in methods and learning and development approaches
Collaborate with management to create and conduct surveys designed to identify specific learning and development needs within the organization
Create and promote a positive learning culture
Effectively manage the learning and development budget
Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that learning and development processes are meeting business needs and improving performance
Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic learning based on the organization's goals
Assess employees' skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement
Keep abreast of learning trends, developments and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ Years experience in learning and development
Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred
Experience with learning curriculum creation
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team
Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills
