Day to Day:
The Manager, Imaging Informatics is responsible for the daily oversight of enterprise Imaging Informatics to ensure the optimal use of mission-critical systems that enable excellent patient care. This includes managing the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related imaging informatics applications. The role involves direct oversight of image management, system maintenance, application integrations, testing, troubleshooting, end-user training, workflow design, quality improvement, optimization, and support of imaging applications and Teleimaging services. This position also includes application planning and team management of imaging informatics analysts/administrators. The manager collaborates with staff, vendors, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to facilitate digital imaging initiatives and participates in leadership discussions for departmental goals, standards, policies, and project prioritization.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily oversight of enterprise Imaging Informatics to ensure optimal use of mission-critical systems.
Management of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related imaging informatics applications.
Direct oversight of image management, system maintenance, application integrations, testing, troubleshooting, end-user training, workflow design, quality improvement, optimization, and support of imaging applications and Teleimaging services.

Operations radiology huddle: escalate issues to radiology operations.
Managing tickets in ServiceNow: assigning and dividing work.
Regular one-on-ones with team members.
Collaborating with the director and ensuring team well-being through quarterly rounding.
Managing operating and capital budgets, including people, subscriptions, and software.
Attending meetings related to software like PowerScribe, PACS, and post-processing applications
