Tax Manager Position Overview The Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning for the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities while maximizing financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities including partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Provide tax compliance and advisory services to clients and internal stakeholders.
Review and analyze financial statements for tax reporting and compliance.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance on tax-related issues and career development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Experience working with partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools.
