Responsible for performing all functions required to support day-to-day data security operations. Maintain a broad suite of information security infrastructure, accountable for cyber security infrastructure component availability and integrity. Participate in the research, implementation and administration of new cybersecurity systems and development to enable continuing innovation within the security infrastructure.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade Cyber Security solutions as well as using existing tools to help discover and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols on any security platforms.
Engineer technology platforms and infrastructures in alignment with NCLH security standards and strategic roadmaps.
Provide technical support for security initiatives involving security infrastructures, frameworks, methodologies, and/or platforms.
Participate in the testing of security solutions and report observations to Security Management.
Coordinate with third party vendors for the upgrade/support of all security controls in place in the environment.
Conduct analysis to ensure tools are aligned and comply with approved company procedures.
Provide mentorship to Security Engineers and Security Analysts.
Serve as a third-tier for troubleshooting and support for all managed security applications and devices in the event of escalations.
Carry out administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Computer Science
EXPERIENCE
8 years of general IT experience.
3-5 years' delivering information security infrastructure support and related services.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Strong skills implementing and configuring security components.
Ability to work in a team environment. Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills.
Works with minimum supervision, proactively follows up on outstanding issues/tickets.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience in the following areas/technologies: AD / System Administration, Network (Advanced understanding of concepts and technologies), Firewalls/IDS/IPS/Web Application Firewalls/Web Content Filtering/Load Balancers, Endpoint Security Technologies (Anti-Virus, Data Loss Prevention, EDR, Encryption).
