Job Description:

A leading waste management company is seeking a Customer Care and Administration Manager to oversee operations, post-sale customer interactions, and manage the flow of information and financial transactions. The ideal candidate has significant experience in business operations, customer service, and team management.

Salary + Additional Benefits:
  • $100,000-$120,000

Location: Houston, TX 77029 - Onsite

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to implement administrative functions efficiently to all employees.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, development, coaching, and disciplinary actions for administrative and customer service staff across 4 branches.
  • Lead and monitor effective process execution, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Develop expertise in company systems and processes to ensure consistent and accurate operations.
  • Identify and report potential process improvements to the US Controller.
  • Achieve high service standards in all customer interactions, ensuring responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Ensure all written communications meet company standards for etiquette and presentation.
  • Document all customer interactions and address requests promptly per company procedures.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring compliance with company procedures and effective execution.
  • Create and prioritize Accounts Receivable collections lists and conduct weekly reviews to minimize account closures due to non-payment.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for operations and provide performance metrics in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate timely processing of daily route sheets, work orders, and Sales Agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with the Employee Handbook and all company policies, prioritizing safety and addressing issues immediately.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of operations management experience focusing on customer service and operational excellence within an industrial, transportation, or similar environment
  • Strong people leadership experience focusing on communicating, directing, retaining and influencing workplace culture
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment.
  • Experience defining strategic objectives and delivering strategic outcomes, particularly those that improve efficiency or accuracy
  • Must be able to travel within Texas and other states frequently
