Job Description: IT Technical Project Lead II - Construction Projects
This role focuses on managing IT infrastructure projects that support large-scale construction initiatives across North America. The IT Technical Project Lead II is responsible for coordinating the integration of IT systems into new building projects, covering areas such as connectivity, server setup, and passive IT infrastructure. This role serves as the central point of coordination among internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to align IT infrastructure with construction objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage IT Infrastructure Projects: Oversee end-to-end IT implementation for construction projects, including network connectivity, server configurations, and passive IT systems like cabling.
Project Management & Tools: Use Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint to handle schedules, resources, and deliverables, and to present updates to stakeholders.
Team Collaboration & Leadership: Act as the liaison between IT, construction, and external vendors to align IT requirements and address project challenges.
Stakeholder Engagement: Present progress and technical updates to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals.
Qualifications:
Must-Have: Project management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint; understanding of Agile methodology and frameworks.
Nice-to-Have: Experience in construction management or IT infrastructure project management; familiarity with Confluence.
Education: BA/BS degree in computer science, business or the equivalent of four years experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
