We are looking for a Change Management to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of key initiatives for one of our financial clients. This role is based in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).
Pay: $55-60 per hour
Duration: 12-month contract
As a Change Manager, you will develop and execute strategic change initiatives to ensure the smooth adoption of new processes and technologies across the organization, focusing on clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and training. You'll analyze impacts, deliver compelling presentations to leadership, and maintain compliance with change management standards to drive successful transformations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5-7 years in Change Management or Project Management roles, with at least 5-8 years of direct Change Management experience.
3-4 years of experience in governance roles, conducting audits and governance activities to ensure alignment with Enterprise Change Management requirements.
Proven experience creating executive presentations and managing communications with leadership.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including phases such as Plan, Build, Test, and Deploy.
Experience coordinating problem tracking and providing solutions across teams.
Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, and Test Management systems, including proficiency with JQL in Jira.
Experience working within a global organization and managing onshore/offshore models.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of project management or team lead experience.
Business acumen in technical development organizations and familiarity with QA processes/methodologies.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leverage strong change management experience to execute stakeholder analysis, develop training strategies, and plan communication to ensure consistent messaging throughout the change process.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, generate effective solutions, and implement Change Management standards and procedures.
Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to assess change impacts and drive meaningful engagement.
Plan, develop, and implement training strategies to support the seamless adoption of new technologies and processes.
Perform business analysis and engagement to gather requirements, evaluate needs, and identify areas for improvement.
Deliver compelling executive presentations to communicate the value of proposed changes to leadership and stakeholders.
Maintain accountability for implementing and adhering to Change Management standards, procedures, and governance requirements.
Execute within Enterprise Change Management processes, reconciling testing evidence with organizational standards.
Track, create, and report on change management metrics to monitor effectiveness and identify areas for optimization.
Manage testing-related documentation, including test plans, project plans, and issue tracking.
Provide guidance to junior and mid-level resources, support Leads and Managers, and bring executive-level presence to the team.
Work within established SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative models.
