We are looking for a skilled Travelling Multifamily Construction Superintendent with experience in managing multi-family construction projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will oversee on-site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure project quality and timeline adherence. This role requires frequent travel to project sites and flexibility to relocate for extended project durations.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and timelines.
Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to align with the project scope and milestones.
Quality Control: Monitor construction activities for compliance with project specifications, ensuring high standards of quality across all locations.
Safety Management: Enforce OSHA and company safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and maintaining a safe work environment for all site personnel.
Scheduling & Logistics: Develop, adjust, and maintain the project schedule; manage site logistics, materials, and equipment across multiple locations.
Communication: Act as the primary on-site contact for stakeholders, including the project management team, subcontractors, and clients, providing clear updates on project progress.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation of all activities, including labor, materials, and progress, for review with the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multi-family construction
Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and scheduling tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required. First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Travel: Must be able to travel extensively and reside near job sites for project durations.
