About the Role
The Business Intelligence Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the BI Analysts and is responsible for identifying trends and communicating insights related to various Casino systems and operations.
Responsibilities
Oversees all BI Analysts.
Provides training to BI Analysts on both technical and analytical aspects of their roles.
Conducts quarterly reviews of BI Analysts' progress, offering praise for strong performance and coaching for areas needing improvement.
Executes queries on various databases (both standard and ad-hoc) to extract data for analysis.
Presents and discusses analysis results with high-level executives.
Develops, maintains, and disseminates key operating metrics to assess the achievement of the company's operational, service, and financial goals
Actively seeks margin improvement opportunities and collaborates with relevant departments to provide recommendations.
Conducts short- and long-term financial analyses for the property, including labor and financial data reporting, and monitors labor costs to find efficiency improvements.
Calculates the profitability of marketing programs and analyzes results to find ways to enhance the efficiency of marketing expenditures, communicating findings to the executive team.
Creates presentations for regular meetings and operational reviews.
Promotes superior guest service enthusiastically, ensuring all team members adhere to guest service standards and addressing issues as they arise.
Collects relevant data, structures data models, and executes and interprets quantitative data.
Self-directed with strong qualitative analytic skills, capable of managing sensitive information confidentially.
Handles high-exposure projects, exhibits excellent organizational skills, and is open to coaching and feedback.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft applications is essential.
Must present a professional appearance and maintain impeccable integrity.
Possess strong analytical abilities.
Advanced skills in Tableau, SQL, and Microsoft systems inclusive of Excel and Access
