Who You Are:

As the Global Merchandiser for Men's Global Merchandising - Accessories, your role is critical for the Men's Michael Kors team. You will be responsible for architecting a brand-right product assortment for the Global Men's business to position the brand for growth. You will work closely with the Design, Production, Wholesale, and Licensing teams to ensure customer preferences are considered while balancing the overall brand guidelines and aesthetic with the desired financial objectives.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the development and execution of strategic global assortment based on thorough knowledge of market, brand, and business, balancing needs of each region and channel.
  • Key role in line planning, assortment building, costing, product development, pricing, and partnership with cross functional throughout merchandising lifecycle. Ensure differentiation of assortments by channel, as well as according to regional needs while maintaining the brand DNA.
  • Own business analyses to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities to achieve continued growth and profitability of the Men's Accessories business. Apply findings to future product development.
  • Support editing the line during Market through sku analysis and Showroom set up. Own reporting on regional buys and adoption post Market.
  • Key partner in communication of business needs with management to drive the strategic direction of Men's Accessories. This person is a key liaison between design, production, merchandising, global retail and wholesale sales teams.

You'll Need to Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in a fashion brand
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience (Men's Accessories Merchandising preferred)
  • A strong sense of the men's market across luxury and accessible tiers
  • Solid comprehension of the male consumer base, including geographical nuance
  • The ability to translate analysis into actionable business opportunities
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • The ability to interact with all levels of management and influence others
  • Strong skills in Retail Math, Merchandising/Buying metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Specifically Excel & Power Point
  • Strong presentation skills, especially visual presentation (Showroom set up)
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
