Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to plan, implement, and maintain Salesforce-based Association Management Systems (AMS) for our diverse client base. This role involves managing multiple client projects, collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders, and ensuring the technical integrity of Salesforce solutions. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering effective and scalable systems, enhancing operational efficiency for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Implementation & Maintenance:
  • Plan, configure, and maintain Salesforce-based AMS for multiple association clients. Ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Project & Client Management:
  • Oversee and manage the technical aspects of AMS solutions, balancing workload across various client projects.

Collaboration & Consultation:
  • Work closely with the Information Services department and client teams to identify technical solutions tailored to each client's needs. Offer guidance on Salesforce best practices.

Technical Documentation:
  • Create, maintain, and update detailed technical documentation for all Salesforce implementations, configurations, and processes.

Continuous Improvement & Support:
  • Provide ongoing support for Salesforce-related tasks, ensuring systems evolve and adapt as client requirements change.

Other AMS-related Responsibilities:
  • Take on additional tasks as necessary to support AMS solutions and client success.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

Technical Salesforce Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development, including:
  • Apex Classes and Triggers
  • Flows
  • Custom Objects and Fields
  • Advanced Formulas
  • SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language)

Communication & Collaboration:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical client stakeholders.

Autonomy & Teamwork:
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks, as well as thriving in a team environment.

Version Control & Repository Systems:
  • Working knowledge of version control and code repository systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience with Visualforce and Aura components.

Programming Skills:
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

Certifications & Experience:
  • Salesforce Developer or Administrator certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience with Nimble AMS is a plus.
  • A background in working with non-profit organizations or associations is highly desirable.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • This position is based in downtown Milwaukee, WI. Employees are expected to work onsite at least two days a week, including Wednesday as an all-staff in-office day.
