We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and expertise in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing automated test scripts using Python and a BDD framework to guarantee the quality and dependability of our software applications.
Key responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop effective test strategies
Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to validate software quality
Identify and document defects, facilitating timely resolutions with the development team
Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework and processes
Required Skills:
Proven 5 to 7 years' experience in embedded systems test automation.
5 to 7 years' experience in Python programming for test automation.
Experience configuring and maintenance of test automation in Jenkins.
Hands on working experience in Linux (e.g. CentOS) is mandatory.
Experience in automation of HDMI using squish automation framework.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Nice to have
Exposure to test LAB environment, devices set up, troubleshooting and configuration
