Job Description
Our technology solutions team is seeking a Library Analyst to support our global Media & Entertainment client with their Media Library governance team on a key migration project. You'll be supporting the migration and quality efforts of a group of media libraries across the organization that supports streaming of local and international networks and services. This team supports the care, organizing, researching, and protecting digital and physical assets for movies and TV shows across several media libraries. You will be working with both technical and business teams on projects, and coordinate with content partners and providers to get new content to support live orders and special tasks. The role needs strong analytical skills to ensure high-quality work, and most of all - excellent customer service skills to work with all teams enthusiastically.
This project requires the person to work onsite 3 days / week to work on this valuable project. We are setting up interviews immediately and if you have a least a couple of years working within Library or Media Operations we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Provide additional support in managing order and research request queues by reviewing and understanding content specifications, ensuring assets are ready and available by the requested due dates, and facilitating the movement of orders/requests through the Supply Chain as needed.
Actively search for the best available assets through various systems, libraries, and storage while providing expertise on content best practices and availability upon request from clients and internal teams for both digital and physical assets.
Update metadata or library records as needed, and collect and compile available assets from active libraries, or collaborate with content providers and subject matter experts to provide guidance on content specifications and expected delivery dates.
Offer guidance on availability, set up asset tracking, and prepare documentation for downstream teams.
Participate in special projects and library migration efforts to ensure content is accurately utilized throughout the entire workflow operation.
Set and manage expectations regarding deliverables with stakeholders and communicate with clients and internal partners to provide status updates.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proficiency with digital media (including video, audio, and text files) and a strong interest or expertise in content curation and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to grasp the overall scope of requests while focusing on specific details.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively both in-person and remotely with a diverse range of individuals across different departments and functions.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume work environment and juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and partners.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently, utilizing available resources and continuously seeking new opportunities and solutions.
Cooperative team player who respects rules and policies while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Passion for media distribution and staying updated with new platforms and the latest technology trends.
Experience or a keen interest in supply chain optimization.
Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience.
At least 1 year of relevant professional industry experience.
Proficiency with Smartsheet, Office 365 Suite/Apps (Teams, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.), Salesforce, JIRA, and/or other project management and process mapping tools.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $22-25/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
