We are seeking a hands-on engineering Project Leader with an Aerospace background to champion the hardware implementation of ground-breaking wireless charging systems for electric vehicles! In this role you will collaborate with engineering teams and program managers to bring innovative charging solutions to life across sites in California.
As the Engineering Project Leader, you will oversee all aspects of hardware installation, ensuring that projects are executed seamlessly and meet our high standards of quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include coordinating technical efforts, managing timelines, and addressing on-site challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and installation of wireless charging systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations.
Coordinate with program managers to align project goals and deliverables, facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate installation requirements and identify potential challenges.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
3-4 years of experience in engineering project management, particularly in hardware implementation ( Aerospace and Automotive hardware backgrounds is preferred )
Proven problem-solving skills with a strong background in troubleshooting technical challenges.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing customer relations.
Willingness to travel 25%-30% to oversee site installations and collaborate with teams on location.
Must have hands on experience, and still willing to be in a hands on position.
