Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Product Manager to take our digital product experience to the next level. In this role, you'll drive measurable improvements to core features and functionality across our prospect and member experience, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional who thinks ahead, solves challenges with speed and creativity, delivers high-quality results consistently, and inspires team performance through clear direction and leading by example.

Soft skills are key to success. We seek candidates with strong interpersonal abilities - effective communication, teamwork, prioritization, and problem solving - who can adapt to change, manage conflicts with empathy, and collaborate well with diverse teams. While technical skills matter, we highly value those who build positive relationships, contribute to a supportive culture, and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. If this sounds like you, you'll thrive in our dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Feature Definition & Design: Shape and define product features that align with user needs and business objectives. Enhance existing features to improve user experience, follow industry best practices, and address business challenges. Create clear and comprehensive product requirements and user stories for team execution.
  • User Interface Development: Partner with design and development teams to create intuitive frontend interfaces that deliver exceptional user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Define and prioritize work for engineering, QA, and design team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and shared success.
  • Technical Collaboration: Demonstrate foundational technical understanding to effectively communicate with and support engineering teams. Engage in technical discussions and comprehend engineering trade-offs while letting engineers define technical implementation.
  • Cross-Departmental Communication: Build effective relationships with stakeholders across all levels, align on project requirements, and provide clear status updates.
  • Problem Analysis: Apply critical thinking to synthesize data, user feedback, and business needs into comprehensive product solutions.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Pull data and use it to guide product strategy and tuning, and help define success metrics for specific initiatives. Conduct regular competitive analysis, user testing, A/B testing, and market research to inform decisions.
  • Feedback Integration: Proactively gather and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback to improve product features and team processes.
  • Independence & Oversight: Take ownership of day-to-day product decisions while leveraging the Director of Product for guidance on strategic direction or more complex decisions.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Product Manager experience across at least two companies, preferably growth companies ($50M+ annual revenue)
  • 3+ years B2C company experience
  • Strong background in design and development of frontend user interfaces, with experience overseeing web and mobile app products
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate vision into action through exceptional execution skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work to spec and on time
  • Ability to adapt to new information, prioritize high-impact initiatives and manage time effectively
  • Outstanding communication skills, emphasizing active listening and adaptable communication
  • Ability to build consensus and influence across teams without direct reporting authority
  • Capable of balancing independent decision-making with strategic leadership oversight, demonstrating both autonomy and collaborative approach to product management
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis, user research, and A/B testing
