Contribute to the execution of a competency assurance program for Operations and Wells personnel
Will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and update competencies for a broad range of tasks and responsibilities
Assess the relevant workforce members to ensure safe and skilled individuals are equipped for success
Develop training plans and resources for identified training opportunities
Utilizing established protocols, individual will help develop procedures/guides to support Operations and Wells field-facing roles
This role necessitates ~5% travel

To include: hot work, purging, trenching/excavation, ground disturbance, critical lifts, rigging/hoisting, heavy machinery operations, working at heights, energy isolation, electrical safety, machine guarding, forklift operation, HazCom, spill response, scaffolding, man lifts, confined space, and other
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Prior oil and gas experience strongly encouraged

The Competency Assurance Assessor is a senior, experienced oil and gas professional who cares about people and interacts well with teams. Utilizing proven methodologies, this individual will help to execute a competency assurance program for the Rockies Business Unit (RBU) field workforce. This individual will help execute and provide improvement recommendations for a best-in-class competency assurance program focused on Operations and Wells personnel. This position will primarily be responsible for delivering assessments and supporting the ongoing development of the competency assurance program.
Daily responsibilities include delivering one-on-one technical competency assessments focused on knowledge and skills for our field-facing workforce, assigning and supporting training to help enhance workforce development, providing coaching to help close identified opportunities, managing administrative tasks for assessments, supporting ongoing program development, working with a best-in-class team, and other. Pay for this role ranges from $55-65/hr.
