Logistics Analytics Manager: Network Strategy - Marlborough, MA
Job Summary:
The Logistics Analytics Manager in charge of Network Strategy and Optimization is responsible for driving the long-term network strategy and design. The Logistics Analytics Manager will independently, and in partnership with Logistics leaders, develop and maintain the long-term logistics Network strategy. The Logistics Analytics Manager will perform and require the following:
Have an understanding of TJX's logistics network and associated data structure
Lead a team of analysts in scenario modeling and design of the long-term TJX Network
Develop the 10 Year Building Strategy for Service Center and Consolidation Networks
Major Areas of Responsibility & Activities:
Leads and delivers strategic business initiative assessments through planning, strategy development, business case creation, modeling, scenario planning, operational assessments and improvements
Ownership of 10 Year Consolidation and Service Center Network models
Rapid scenario modeling and assessment of business cases to ensure optimal decision-making for Network Design
Develop process to assess store level routing changes in transportation modeler
Streamline logistics data ingestion to improve efficiency of model updates
Identify scenarios for network improvement to consistently optimize or identify risk in the TJX Network
Identify capacity shortfalls and recommend solutions to ensure consistent flow
Performs analytical and data modeling related to scenario planning along with what if analysis and ad-hoc analysis requests
Develops analytics to support strategic decision making across the organization
Coordinates inputs and assumptions across stakeholders, educates on impact of assumptions, and provides expertise to determine the most effective approach
Ensures data accuracy and modeling techniques to produce desired outcome
Communicate results into clear and concise presentation materials inclusive of appropriate visuals that can be shared with key stakeholders
Maintains in-depth knowledge of TJX Logistics' footprint inclusive of facilities, providers and carriers
Manages, coaches, and mentors direct reports
Leads all aspects of performance and professional development of direct reports for future growth within the organization
Minimal Skills / Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Required, Advanced Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience
5-7 years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations of Finance
Advanced analytical skills
Experience in delivering recommendations to executive leadership
