We are searching for and E&C Engineer - IV (project management) on behalf our of client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment (W-2) position. This is Plant based engineering role to support the client's energy supply projects group and to help manage capital projects at the Pawnee generating facility in Brush, CO. The person would be responsible for managing all emergent capital projects at the plant as well as supporting larger base and major capital projects strictly for the Pawnee/Manichee facility.
The person would support reliability engineering in helping develop scopes and justifications for projects and putting those through emergent capital request system/process and would be responsible for managing all the projects.
The person could be responsible for upwards of 20 small projects going on at one time in addition to supporting some of the larger base capital projects. Brush, CO is about 1.5 hours NE of Denver metro area (next to FT. Morgan).

Responsibilities:
Attending morning *POD meetings, collaborating with operations and reliability personnel throughout the day, overseeing contractors performing/executing on the projects in the field and would be responsible for all the administrative project paperwork, such as developing scopes of work, technical specifications, helping get quotes for equipment, bidding out if necessary and coordinating material deliveries and installation with the plant as well.
POD meetings are the groups internal morning meetings to plan out critical items that need to be done that day.
Responsible for planning, organizing, estimating, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, bid document development, procurement, quality, safety compliance, status reporting, construction management, commissioning, and project close-out.
Oversight and support of technical plant modifications including, but not limited to control systems, turbines, generators, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping systems, cooling systems, boilers, and HVAC.
Manage multiple contractors through project construction phases and oversee field activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Perform safety audits to ensure OSHA and company safety requirements are met.
Create scopes of work for projects that define all necessary tasks required to complete project, including safety, QA/QC, environmental, and document control. Prepare technical specifications for the supply and installation of mechanical, electrical, and civil features of the project that comply with all applicable requirements, while coordinating with applicable disciplines internally and reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
Prepare technical/pricing documents to bid projects, evaluate bids, and provide award recommendations to upper management. Collaborate with sourcing specialists to prepare RFls, RFPs, bidders lists, and contracts.
Requirements
4 yr. engineering degree required.
MS Suite - specifically with Excel
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Must be proficient with or have experience with SAP in regard to workorder planning and purchasing is through SAP.
A plus is experience with ProjectWise drawing system to find existing drawings and documentation for the projects and the equipment that they will be working on.
