Under the direction of the Head of Global Business Services, this role leads the strategic planning, coordination, and oversight of multiple high-level projects and integrations across the organization. It involves developing and enhancing program structures that align with corporate goals, optimize resource use, and improve overall efficiency. By applying advanced project management practices, this role facilitates collaboration among cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of critical programs. The role emphasizes proactive risk management, cultivates continuous improvement, and engages key stakeholders to achieve significant business outcomes.
Primary Duties:
Directs cross-functional teams by setting work plans and tracking progress on key milestones.
Manages program roadmaps and key milestones, assessing impacts and determining contingency actions if deadlines shift.
Oversees related projects within a program that collectively support strategic objectives.
Monitors and records actual costs against budgets and identifies any variances, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
Upholds service quality by setting and enforcing departmental standards, driving new tools and processes for advancement.
Applies strong program and project management techniques to make informed decisions impacting business metrics and strategic goals.
Builds consensus across teams regarding project scope, task execution, and issue resolution.
Translates customer needs and expectations into clear program objectives.
Leads change initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment for idea sharing and problem-solving.
Develops and implements departmental policies, standards, and governance structures.
Recommends strategies to improve efficiency, service, or product delivery while reducing program expenses.
Adopts best practices and industry standards as appropriate.
Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in project/program management, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Project Management certification or relevant training is preferred.
Strong project and program management skills, adept at handling diverse projects in a cross-functional setting with knowledge of established methodologies.
Effective communicator at all organizational levels, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong teamwork and presentation skills, along with proficiency in tools like MS Project, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
