Project Manager Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role is vital in managing both the technical and administrative sides of construction projects, particularly in the commercial and multi-family sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and developments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, particularly in apartments and wood frame structures.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Familiarity with project management software and tools.
