Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Program Manager to join theirteam. The HSE Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all health, safety, and environmental programs across the organization. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in HSE management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
The Opportunity:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and develop effective corrective and preventive measures.
- Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on HSE-related matters.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and address any concerns.
- Develop and manage the HSE budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive HSE management across the organization.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends, and legislative changes in HSE.
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HSE management in amanufacturing envirionment.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing Worker's Comp claims and process
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools.
