Position Overview
Avsar Construction is seeking an experienced Program Scheduler ready to bring precision, passion, and innovation to our projects across Los Angeles. In this role, you'll not only create the timelines that define our projects but also drive successful project delivery from the initial concept to completion. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain program schedules that identify relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
Monitor and actively participate in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards.
Obtain accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on the information received.
Create and develop conceptual "what-if" schedules for multiple project types, including large, complex, multi-year projects.
Conduct Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an owner or General Contractor, preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or a related field with added scheduling experience) OR Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
Core Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills; an ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple project schedules seamlessly.
