Job Description:

Summary: Manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of all labor management programs, and the corresponding Incentive Program administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinates labor initiatives in the department. Develops engineered labor standards for warehouse, manufacturing, and transportation areas. Manages / supports project implementations of standard programs and system upgrades. Audits and maintains integrity of labor standard programs. Maintains labor management module in the Warehouse Management System. Manages the administration of the Individual and Team Incentive programs. Analyzes distribution statistics and performance to identify opportunity areas for cost savings initiatives. Prepares reports/documentation to communicate program results and support logistics. Utilizes Microsoft applications and other distribution systems (TRICEPS, PROSPERO, MDS, SAMSARA) for analysis, simulation and documentation.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business writings and statistics. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Math Ability:

Ability to apply math techniques utilized to develop engineered labor standards (regression analysis, statistical analysis) Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access); Warehouse Management System experience a plus.

Certificates and Licenses:

Time Study Certification / Predetermined Time Systems a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages hourly Lead associates (Warehouse Systems Technicians) in Industrial Engineering.

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
