Position Summary:
The Management Coordinator reports to and assists the Practice Administrator and Division Medical Director of Audiology in the operation of the Audiology department. Such operations include, but are not limited to, the following: planning, developing, and organizing daily clinical operations, facilitating program development, and directing audiology and speech therapy services within the department of Audiology. This person shall also provide leadership and supervision to the audiology and speech therapy staff, ensure their respective clinical competencies, and work closely with the Practice Administrator and Division Medical Director to ensure growth and stability of the assigned departments. This person shall also provide direct audiology services as needed.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Master's in Audiology or Audiology Clinical Doctorate
Experience:
Minimum 5 years working as an audiologist with a pediatric population
License/Certification:
Licensed Audiologist
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Excellent clinical skills, especially related to pediatrics
Effective written and verbal communication
Good physical condition including the ability to lift, transfer, and move heavy/awkward patients and equipment
Moderate walking and sitting
Must be familiar with all varieties of audiology testing equipment
Basic computer skills including proficiency in email, internet, MS Word, and database management using MS Excel
Physical Requirements:
