Position Summary: JumpCrew seeks a dynamic and analytical Workforce Planning and Optimization Manager to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our outbound and inbound sales teams. This role is crucial in developing workforce strategies that ensure optimal staffing levels, maximize productivity, and support our revenue goals. The ideal candidate will analyze workforce trends, forecast staffing needs, and work closely with sales leadership to build a high-performing sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Analysis and Forecasting:
Analyze sales data and trends to accurately forecast staffing needs for inbound and outbound teams.
Develop predictive models for sales volume and corresponding workforce requirements.
Identify skill gaps within teams to guide recruitment and training efforts.
Staffing Strategy Development:
Design and implement workforce planning strategies that align with sales goals and business objectives.
Collaborate with HR to develop and execute short-term and long-term recruiting plans.
Create flexible staffing models to adapt to seasonal shifts and evolving business needs.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales teams to identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices in workforce management and resource allocation to boost productivity.
Work with sales leadership to establish and benchmark performance goals for team members.
Training and Development:
Partner with the training department to design and deliver targeted programs that address skill gaps.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, adjusting programs to meet evolving sales demands.
Technology and Tools Implementation:
Assess and recommend workforce management tools and technologies to streamline planning and enhance data analysis.
Ensure sales teams have access to relevant data and resources for effective decision-making.
Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as a liaison among sales leadership, HR, and operations to align on workforce planning and optimization initiatives.
Present workforce planning insights and recommendations to senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in workforce planning and optimization.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve workforce efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in workforce planning, optimization, or resource management, preferably in a sales environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in workforce management software and tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or similar outsourced services environment is a plus.
