We are seeking a Senior Total Rewards Specialist to lead our total rewards initiatives with passion, precision, and a people-first approach. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our benefits, compensation, and leave programs, as well as supporting employee well-being and safety initiatives. We are looking for an expert in total rewards who brings a proactive approach to continuously enhance our offerings, attracting and retaining top talent. Success in this role requires a high degree of attention to detail, strategic insight, and an approachable demeanor that invites employees to engage with you on all aspects of their total rewards.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Management:
Lead the administration of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with company goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for our medical stop-loss captive, managing claims, renewals, and ongoing evaluations to optimize our self-funded benefits approach.
Evaluate, propose, and implement new benefits and enhancements based on employee needs and market trends.
Handle all benefit invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate submission to the Accounts Payable team for processing.
Compensation:
Develop and manage competitive compensation programs, including salary structures, merit increases, and bonus programs.
Conduct market research to ensure compensation packages align with industry standards and support employee retention and satisfaction.
Partner with HR and leadership to execute equitable compensation strategies that foster internal growth and recognition.
Leave & Time Off Support:
Administer and support employee leave programs, including family, medical, and other leaves, ensuring compliance and a supportive employee experience.
Partner with employees and managers to create smooth transitions for employees going on and returning from leave.
Employee Safety & Well-being:
Collaborate with HR and Facilities to maintain and enhance workplace safety programs.
Drive initiatives to support employee mental and physical well-being, including programs, policies, and resources that promote a healthy work-life balance.
Attend at least four benefit conferences annually, with two focused on safety and two on wellness.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in total rewards, benefits, and compensation administration.
Strong knowledge of self-funded benefit plans and experience in a medical stop-loss captive is highly preferred.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and approachable personality that fosters employee engagement and trust.
