JustinBradley's client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a Product Manager III. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving product development and enhancements to support our client's goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and technology teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and create user stories and acceptance criteria. This role will involve regular engagement with stakeholders to ensure that the product's strategy aligns with business objectives, providing meaningful insights and reports that support decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in both the technical and strategic facets of product management.
Key Responsibilities:
Create features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and maintain product backlog.
Engage in all Scrum ceremonies and ensure the development team understands the scope of features.
Design and refine product roadmaps, translate design requirements, and manage product releases.
Identify opportunities for product improvements by gathering feedback and presenting actionable recommendations.
Develop communication and outreach materials for both internal and external audiences.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize their needs, focusing on actionable analytics.
Manage and engage stakeholders, customers, and vendors, ensuring clear communication across all teams.
Present information in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Create and maintain product dashboards and executive reports to track product development progress.
Support decision-making by delivering insights and developing executive-level presentations.
Perform product demos for stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Ensure product strategy aligns with overall business goals, prioritizing demand management and backlog management.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver requirements and oversee triaging and data mapping issues.
Influence and negotiate with stakeholders, facilitating meetings to resolve conflicts and ensure effective collaboration.
Support the product team by gathering and documenting information, data rules, and system interface documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
7-8 years in a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Product Manager role.
Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience using JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence.
Proven experience in managing the product development lifecycle, including user acceptance testing, integration testing, and issue triaging.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to present information clearly and engage diverse stakeholders.
Experience in database modeling, data mapping, and writing and understanding data rules.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Multifamily mortgage processes and practices is highly desirable.
