Role Overview: As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our direct sourcing initiatives, driving category management for key business areas. You'll manage sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationships to ensure quality, supply stability, and cost competitiveness. Your role will involve developing and executing sourcing strategies, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining a keen awareness of market trends and procurement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing: Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, including market analysis, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Merchants, Product Managers, and the Global Sourcing Office to enhance product quality and cost-effectiveness.
Supplier Management: Build and manage supplier relationships, ensuring they meet quality and service standards while maintaining competitive pricing.
Category Expertise: Stay current on market trends, supplier economics, and develop cost models to inform strategic decisions.
Process Leadership: Manage RFPs, eAuctions, and data-driven supplier selection processes, and ensure alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 3 years of direct sourcing, strategic sourcing, or procurement experience.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in data analytics, contract management tools (e.g., Ariba, Oracle Contracts), and spend analytics.
Experience with supplier sourcing and eAuctions.
