Director, Security Services , Federal - Remote Position at Magellan Health Services inc in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description:

Organize, coordinate, and direct a comprehensive investigations and physical security program to protect Magellan Federal assets, member and provider information, and provide a safe working environment for employees.

• As the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Insider Threat Program Security Officer(ITPSO) for Magellan Federal, direct all Industrial Security actions for the Magellan Federal Security Program and adhere
  to the strict standard of the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule.


• Establish and maintain a working relationship with the Defense Counter-Intelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Central Adjudication System for submitting investigation documents.


• Maintain the National Industrial Security System (NISP) Central Access Information Security System (NCAISS) and the Facility Clearance status in the National Industrial Security System (NISS).


• Direct the Security Staff on updating the investigation records in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).


• Manage Approval Electronic Applications (e-APP) investigations for DOD and DHA clearances and follow-up actions with the DOD Central Adjudication System (CAS).


• Coordinate with the government agencies on reviewing and updating all DD 254s (Contract Security Classification Specification) which provides security requirement and classification guidance for our cleared contracts.


• Manage the proposal response function for the Security Department and ensure they are in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule).


• Facilitate and support the acquisition of new contracts requiring access to classified information.


• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
10+ years of experience in industrial personnel security with large publicly owned or government organizations.
Experience in facility security management, building security, and government security.

Salary Minimum:
$105,230
Salary Maximum:
$178,890

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
