The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our client's patients, providing guidance, answering questions and assisting with any needs. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare industry. Customer Service RepresentativeResponsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, helping to create a welcoming environment
Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes, including verifying personal and insurance information
Answer questions related to appointments, services and general facility information
Address patient concerns and direct them to appropriate departments as needed
Ensure the waiting area is organized and that patients are informed of any wait times
Provide information on billing, payment options and assist with processing payments as needed
Support patients with completing forms, paperwork and appointment scheduling
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times
Customer Service RepresentativeRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in healthcare or customer service-related fields is a plus
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or a front-facing role is preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with patients of all backgrounds
Friendly, empathetic demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with healthcare management software is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
