We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team. This position will work with both internal and external clients and partners with a focus on our Renewals line of business to provide a positive customer experience. Keller Schroeder is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities:
Proactively communicate with existing clients to renew their existing agreements and identify potential ways to increase sales of organization's products and/or services.
Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all support and sales teams, as well as client base accounts.
Work with our partners and internal team to provide customer-facing renewal quotes and process approvals.
Communicate with both internal and external clients in a professional, concise, and effective manner.
Maintain accurate and up to date client information, including client preferences.
Prepare quotes, place orders, and provide shipping status updates to clients/account managers for manufacturers of IT related products regarding the following: networking/security, printers, server software, appliances, and misc.
Become a subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned vendor set, in terms of models, new promotions, and pricing updates as related to the vendor set.
Act as primary backup for team members.
