Job Summary
At Selbert Perkins Design, you will work closely with our design team to support the development and documentation of unique, exciting, and functional wayfinding, signage, and placemaking projects. Utilizing your skills you will ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, while exceptionally servicing the client.
Responsibilities • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while working alongside the design team, clients, and sub-consultants. • Coordinate project schedules and ensure that all deadlines and phases are being met. • Work alongside our marketing team to help develop project fees and attend pre-bid meetings. • Ensure that all project deliverables align with the proposal. • Identify out-of-scope efforts and develop additional service requests with the marketing team outlining tasks, hours, and fees. • As the primary point of contact maintain excellent client communications and client relationships. • Create and maintain project schedule and keep design team, clients, and vendors appraised of changes. • Attend coordination calls, and meetings and identify key directives. • Manage and actively review project budgets, identify budget and fee constraints, and assist with resource allocation. • Support new business functions including assistance with research and development of presentations, response strategies, materials for interviews, and proposal development.
Qualifications • 5+ years' experience as a project manager within the design or architecture industry. • Experience leading large-scale projects while working with numerous points of contact such as clients, design teams, and vendors. • Strong leadership, communication, management, verbal, and written communication skills. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
