Our client is looking for a contract Sr. Manager, Planning Process to join their team. This will be a 4-5 month contract position, and ideally, this person will be in-office 2-3 days per week in the Broomfield, CO headquarters (highly experienced fully remote candidates will be considered). Because this role supports a global team, some occasional earlier morning or evening meetings may be required.
*Retail/direct-to-consumer supply chain experience is a MUST.

YOUR Why
In this contract role with the global planning organization, you will be responsible for supporting the design and improvement of an end-to-end planning process that is globally aligned and regionally focused. You will ensure global adoption and execution of the planning process, and will track adherence to the planning playbook. You will be responsible for aligning the planning function with the broader organization by owning the consolidated business calendar, ensuring that key deadlines and deliverables are met.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Lead creation and maintenance of end-to-end process documentation including, but not limited to, process flows, meeting charters, roles and responsibilities, RACI, etc.
Initiate and lead feedback sessions with key partners to find opportunities for process improvement across the supply chain.
Create project plans for continuous process improvement.
Communicate to regional and global partners regarding process changes and support organizational change.
Support all planning users with process execution support and training.
Provide expertise and recommendations for maintained planning parameters.
Create operational reporting that focuses on adherence to the global calendar; i.e. process execution (complete, on time, in full).
Ensure adherence to the global calendar and coordinate variances with impacted partners.
Manage the administration of the global consolidated business calendar; resolve conflicts as needed.
Coordinate feedback to identify and document business requirements for technology; prioritize changes based on business impact. In partnership with IT, align on functional requirements for technology.
Support in the creation of business cases for large technical changes.
Drive future processes, data models, and technical improvements to planning tools in partnership with the business.
Liaise with business analytics and communicate business requirements for operational data and reporting.
What YOU Bring
7+ years experience in planning and/or supply chain, preferably in the retail sector (both wholesale and direct-to-consumer); experience within a multichannel and global setting is a plus.
Experience in Demand Planning, Open to Buy, Merchandise Financial Planning, Integrated Business Planning, AND Supply and Inventory Planning.
Experience with project management, with the ability to influence without authority, the ability to prioritize, manage, and meet deadlines, strong organizational and detail management skills, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively manage time and operate with a sense of urgency, and adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
