Job Title: Training Quality Assurance Specialist

Summary: The Training Quality Assurance Specialist ensures operational excellence, consistency, integrity and regulatory compliance for Training programs including pilots, flight attendants, dispatchers, loadmasters, and instructors as specified in the Flight Operations Training Manual (FOTM). This position conducts systematic evaluations of training to validate the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of training delivery, course content, and regulatory compliance and supports continuous improvement of the airline's training programs. This position will assist with the evaluation, development, and implementation of standardized training programs, curriculums, and procedures while also providing support solutions to the records and scheduling departments as needed. This position requires an individual who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is highly dependable, and able to work independently and effectively with a high level of flexibility in prioritizing tasks and deadlines. Additional duties may involve integration of automation software to ensure efficient department operations. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least five years of experience with a FAA Part 121 airline and should have a solid understanding of regulatory training, scheduling, and operational requirements.
Essential Functions:
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Conduct systematic audits of training programs, materials, and documentation to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards
Conduct quality audits of training programs across flight crew, flight attendant, dispatcher, and loadmaster training
Monitor instructor performance and standardization across training programs
Review training records and documentation
Identify potential compliance issues and assist in development of corrective action plans
Maintain quality control documentation and prepare regulatory compliance reports
Track quality metrics and trends and identify areas for improvement
Monitor effectiveness of changes
Program Development & Improvement
Analyze training effectiveness to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and enhance training standards
Participate in the development and revision of training programs and courseware
Review student feedback and results
Evaluate new training technologies and methodologies for potential implementation
Support continuous improvement initiatives and special project implementation
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain comprehensive quality control records and documentation
Participate in developing and refining quality control procedures and checklists
Track required program approvals and renewals
Collaborate and support the records department and scheduling department to ensure efficient operation.
Prepare regulatory submissions
Prepare detailed audit reports and corrective action recommendations
Track and document implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Ensure proper archival of training records and quality control documentation

Qualifications & Experience:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Three (3) years of data entry experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates professionalism and integrity.
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Regulatory or airline experience with an understanding of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) legalities under FAA Part 121.
5+ years FAA Part 121 airline experience.
