Within the broader Finance Platform Team under Technology, we are looking for a Sr. EBS Developer, who will report to the Engineering Director working within a dedicated development team leading design, development, unit test, and maintaining global strategic solutions in Oracle Financials space. You will be an active contributor to new projects, BAU and support covering.
Your responsibilities would include:
Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across all production support, enhancements and projects for a global ERP implementation covering a variety of EBS standard and custom modules
Design and develop technical solutions to user requirements including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions & Extensions/ Enhancements using Oracle Public APIs
Extend OA framework pages and build/maintain forms built using Oracle APEX
Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control (Github / Gitlab etc.), testing, and migration standards.
Code, unit test, implement and support enterprise application solutions following Oracle best practices and standards, with focus on scalability and maintainability
Use analytics skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly
Work with Team Lead to understand requirements, receive, and follow guidelines for coding and testing standards, identify source data, and perform code reviews
Work effectively in a team environment. Develop strong working relationship with other teams
Communicate status and escalate issues or delays that would impact deadline as early in the process as possible
Work in Agile Scrum / Kanban fashion as needed by the project(s)
Quickly learn / adapt to new technologies / skills to contribute towards EBS upgrades (and/or) implementations.
You have:
7 to 10 years of experience implementing / upgrading / supporting Oracle e-Business Suite (R12.2 preferred).
Extensive experience in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and personalization of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
Maintain the global Oracle Financials application modules GL, AP, AR, FA, iExp, iProc, FAH, CM, OM, PO, Inventory including the documentation of managing bugs/issues and functional changes.
Solid understanding of technical and project best practices, including version control, documentation, implementation process, troubleshooting skills to support Production issues, technical design, and code review discussions.
Ability to learn new modules / technologies as needed to implement and support ERP and third-party solutions/integrations
