We are looking for a passionate, driven, results-oriented HR Business Partner to join our corporate team to work hybrid in Point of Rocks, MD.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role combines the ability to think and act strategically while connecting effectively with other human resources and operational leaders to positively impact the business operations. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to the HR organization. Provides change management leadership as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Collaborate with management to provide daily HR support and strategic advice on HR policies and practices. • Work with the HR department to analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. • Assist in resolving complex employee relation issues. • Support the administration of the performance management process. • Identify training needs in conjunction with the HR department to improve succession planning and talent acquisition strategies; conduct training as needed. • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up to date knowledge of HR best practices and performing internal audits across the HR department. • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ensure the privacy and security of all data and communications. • Create and manage the corporate communication plan with the outside vendor. • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation. Assist with budgeting and expense tracking as needed. • Foster a culture of engagement and well-being, promoting employee morale. • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. • Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Career Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, management, or a related field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an HRBP, HR Manager or HR Generalist. • 10 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Manager in lieu of a degree. • Certification through SHRM is required. • Experience in a corporate environment and manufacturing organization is a plus. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/HRIS systems. • Ability to interact well with people at all levels. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Discretion and confidentiality.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Frequent communication with others to exchange information. • Constant use of computer for prolonged periods. • Prolonged sitting, walking, or standing for brief periods of time, negligible amount of force needed to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects, ability to lift up to 30lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation. • Constantly thinking and processing information. • Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: • General office environment. • May require occasional exposure to production area with airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protection equipment is required when entering manufacturing plant. • Travel to other locations as necessary.
