Job Description:

Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team is seeking a Senior Property Broker to join the National Property Practice in Atlanta, GA.

As a Senior Property Broker, you will be client-facing and responsible for leading brokerage efforts on large, complex Fortune 1000 accounts. Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:

  • Retaining, strengthening, and expanding client relationships by working with producers to understand their expectations regarding client interactions and the tasks, authorities, and responsibilities delegated to the service team.
  • Overseeing day to day processes in all aspects of client's insurance program cycle while ensuring compliance with internal standards and requirements.
  • Organizing and delivering key service meetings and deliverables, including renewal planning, renewal presentations, coverage installation, and annual stewardship and brokerage performance evaluations.
  • Identifying and analyzing client risk exposures, offering guidance on potential risk transfer and mitigation solutions utilizing internal modeling and benchmarking.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and assisting in new business prospecting.
  • Keeping current on marketplace changes, relevant litigation, and coverage nuances and informing clients as necessary.
  • Generating documents and producing correspondence, including summaries of insurance, schedules, historical summaries, analytics, etc., for new and renewal business.
  • Maintaining appropriate state broker's licensing requirements.
  • Fostering and seeking relationships with teammates across all levels of Risk Solutions and Brown & Brown.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7-10 years of related brokerage insurance experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate state broker licenses.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with teammates across different departments.
  • Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to use initiative and sound judgment in accomplishing tasks with minimal errors.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships and function in a team environment.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats.
  • Ability to lead/command client and market discussions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service, listening, and interpersonal skills.
