The Temporary Benefits Coordinator position will be responsible to conduct end of the year benefits plan validation and partnering with the proper team members, to resolve any benefit related issues that may be found may have and assists the Benefits Team with various projects and reports.
Responsibilities: • Administer the Dependent Verification process, ensuring thorough review of backup documentation to validate the eligibility of dependents and approve the eligible dependents in Dayforce. Remove ineligible dependents from coverage from effective start date. • Administer the approval process for Qualifying Life Events (QLE) in Dayforce ensuring a thorough review of backup documentation to confirm that each request meets the criteria established by the IRS. Open QLE in Dayforce and ensure completion by deadline. • Administer the weekly COBRA process in Dayforce and validate the information accuracy. Partner with vendor as needed to ensure benefit end dates processed, COBRA rights packets mailed timely, and address escalated cases through resolution. • Assist with the end of the year benefits plan validation audits to ensure the accuracy of the employee enrollment elections. • Assist the Benefits Manager with the manual monthly ACA reporting and enrollments, including opening enrollment sessions in Dayforce and closing by deadline. • Other duties may be assigned to assist the benefits team with day-to-day benefits administration.
Qualifications: • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint and Excel. • Experience with HRIS and benefits databases, Dayforce is preferred. • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines. • Strong data analytical skills. • Excellent communication and organization skills. • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field, and 1-3 years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience preferred. • Travel may be required, based on business needs. • Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company. • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position. • Must have authorization to work in the United States.
